So, I've been AWOL again. Packing, moving, and trying to get settled in takes a lot out of a girl!

I'm still not completely settled in yet. There are still a few boxes in the apartment... I'm driving K crazy. He hates clutter.

School just seemed to get busy all of a sudden.

It's probably not so much busy as I'm hard on myself... always striving for some completely unobtainable idea of perfection... but it seems like it takes me twice as long to do the work as it does for everyone else.

Not that I really mind... you know. It's not like waking up every day thinking "Oh, hell, I have to go to work. [pause] But, do I really have to?? [whines]" Instead, I actually look forward to coming home and working on my assignments.

I just wish they didn't take me so long.

I'm going to stay at school for a little while today, even though my last lab was cancelled. I've only slept two hours in the past two day (and that sleep was had on Thursday morning, for the record)... I remember well from History... if I go to bed too early in the afternoon, I'll wake up around midnight, wide awake. So, I'm going to stay up until nine (probably eight). And then I'll crash. I won't fall asleep if I'm sitting in a room with nearly-strangers. And, y'know, with faculty popping in from time to time. And maybe I'll get some Illustrator-bonding time in. Who knows!

Hopefully soon I'll post some of my sketchbook tasks... just need some time with my computer (which I've been avoiding since so much of my courses are on computers) and scanner (which is probably still packed).
